Marm Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Hello there I am trying to burn an .iso on a DVD with ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 but it doesn't work. The device is a LG GSA-H42L. I have the latest firmware version (SL01) I DLed from LG website. I am using Verbatim DVD-R. I removed Daemon Tools (SPTD included). Here is the log: I 16:57:12 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! mmalves Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Look for the latest Win7 drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or storage controlelrs (hint: use SIW to identify them). You might also try burning at 8x or 12x, or at 16x if you need the speed.

Just a question if you have the time: how come a motherboard drivers update solved the problem? A Win7 matter? Best regards, Marm
mmalves Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 The Win7 standard drivers should work in most cases, but with some motherboards the hardware implementation may be different in some way that only the manufacturer's driver can understand/handle.
