Hi i bought a new dvdrw a tsstcorp cd dvdw sh s223c, but when i use imgburn it says Disc control block information.

 

Is there any way to fix this

Can you post a log? I guess you get that control block issue when you burn?

Hi sorry can't get the log, when i choose the destination drive, the pc just seems to freeze and nothing happens

If you look into Windows Device Manager - look it right there or is there a yellow ! sign beside the drive name?

Put a blank disc in the drive, wait for it to stop blinking, then open ImgBurn and switch to Write mode. Does it still freeze when doing it this way? If it doesn't then tell us what ImgBurn says in the status bar and also copy and paste here the media information text shown in ImgBurn's main window.

Look for the latest drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or storage controllers (hint: use SIW to identify them), as it seems something is messing with the communication to the burner.
