This is the guide for burning an ISO image. If it didn't work then you should try with other brands of CD-R (Taiyo Yuden highly recommended), slower burn speeds, etc., until you get it working on your PS2.

 

 

thx, what about the type of file. The file is in a winrar zip containing a folder, .bin, .cnf, .elf. I tried buring the zip folder but it looked like im just burning the content of it and i tried writing an image and that failed to. Any suggestions?

WinRAR, by default, associates itself with the ISO file extension, so it's probably an ISO disc image. Enable showing file extensions on your Windows and you'll see.
