GRC Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I am clueless as to why my 1st set of 10 MIRROR BD-R discs were all successful, whereas the 1st 3 of a new batch have failed to verify? I have not changed anything of my setup...is it just a case of bad media? mmalves Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Try burning at 2x, and if that doesn't work, then try with Verbatim BD-R blanks.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 They might have changed dyes between batches - notice your current ones are 'OTCBDR-001-00'.
GRC Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Try burning at 2x, and if that doesn't work, then try with Verbatim BD-R blanks. 2x produces the same veryfying error about halfway through.
GRC Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 They might have changed dyes between batches - notice your current ones are 'OTCBDR-001-00'. Looking at past logs the batch is the same code.
GRC Posted March 13, 2010 Author Posted March 13, 2010 So I have tried a £4 VERBATIM that has worked ok. I am still left asking the same question...why do the MIRRORs suddenly not???
