Ejecting Disc Process

I notice after burning a disc, ImgBurn 2.5.0.0 ejects the disc, then takes it back in again to verify. I just wondered why it needs to do this before verifying?

Because it's the only way to check if the drive can re-initialise the disc.

I don't know, but if you're fast enough to swap discs in the interim it can make for a good joke to the program.
