I know there are check boxes, but first time I installed 2.5.1.0 it went right past that page and would not let me uncheck the boxes. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling and it just went straight thru without offering a choice. So then I had to do a Manual Uninstall of ASK and reset the Home Page Bad installer.
eSkRo Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) There's a new version of the installer that has the uniblue icons disabled by default and unless they're enabled in the installer, the items in the Tools menu won't appear either. LIGHTNING UK! put up a new version of the installer that doesnt auto-checkmark the ads stuff... right here --> http://download.imgburn.com/SetupImgBurn_2.5.1.0.exe so re-install it.... But the ASK Toolbar is still checked by default!!! Beware!! so, although the added ads are still giving me a stomachache i can now still enjoy my imgburn again Edited March 17, 2010 by eSkRo
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 The Ask toolbar is nothing to do with ImgBurn and so it's uninstaller doesn't remove it. If it's already installed, the installer doesn't give you the option to install it again, that would be silly. So basically, the installer is fine.
