Muneer Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Hey, could i get some help plz?... ive read 'Playback issues in your XBOX360?' by Lightning UK and im pretty sure i created the backup image properly and im using verbatim dual layers but i still can't get the backup to work. it fails during verfication so obviously when i put it in my xbox it reads and then doesn't pickup anything (gives open tray option after reading). heres my log: I 13:05:34 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! Muneer Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 buy some online haha, was considering it...but thanks to lightning picking it up i discovered that my media is fine ...but i dont get why it aint reading the disc at all...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 That's more like it Ok, now you should try burning at 4x (and 6x if that fails) to see if it makes a difference. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc too. If nothing works, you'll probably have to buy a new drive. Get a full size one (not slim line). Off topic - is there some reason you haven't installed service pack 1 or 2 for Vista?!
Muneer Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 okay will try that now lightning... just one more thing before i get onto that, after awhile my drive finally picked up the disc and i began verifying but theres a crazy amount of miscompares...i dnt know if this helps or makes a difference but heres the log: I 15:59:27 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! Muneer Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 hmmm...but my drive burns everything else without any problem...its just the dual layer burning that seems to give problems...
eSkRo Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 hmmm...but my drive burns everything else without any problem...its just the dual layer burning that seems to give problems... exactly! Dual LAyer burning is tricky!!
Muneer Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 exactly! Dual LAyer burning is tricky!! yeah i know that eskro, just not convinced its the drive thats the problem...the only way to know for sure is to try it on another drive and see if it works... too expensive to buy a new drive only to find out that there was nothing wrong with the older one...
eSkRo Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 well try it out and let us know! But DVD-Burners aren't expensive these days,,,
