glnz Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 How strong is the "Delete" in "Delete Image"? Is it one of those powerful apps that overwrites the original file on my hardrive with 0's and 1's, or is just like the "Delete" button, which leaves the info on my hard drive? Thanks.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 It's 'DeleteFile' strong. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa363915(VS.85).aspx
glnz Posted March 20, 2010 Author Posted March 20, 2010 Dear Author: Thanks for fast reply! But you are WAY ahead of me technically. The MSDN info at your link doesn't really speak to my concern. Could you elaborate a bit? Does your delete really write over the file?
mmalves Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 It's a simple delete like the "Delete" button: it doesn't overwrite / wipe / securely erase your image file.
