So i have used imgburn before and never had any problems. i just got a new computer and cant seem to figure out whats going on. here is what the log says

nothing will happen it gets stuck on writing lead in

 

any help is greatly appreicated

Try 8x write speed rather than MAX.

 

You could also give some Verbatim DVD+R discs a go, the drive/firmware might like them a bit more.

 

If you've had the drive long enough for it to get dirty, try a cleaning disc in it.

I actually have verbatium disks that i tried and they do not work either and i even tried a 4x write speed and nothing works. Also I tried two other dvd burn programs and i get write errors with them also. I dont get it. It makes me think it is something small since i never had problems before. Also I use dvd fab6 to decrypt the disk.
