SeniorMoments Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I attempted to create a Windows XP PRO SP3 disk per the instructions in the GUIDE section of this forum. Everything went exactly as posted. No errors, no problems. But, when I try to use the new disk to build a new Windows XP Pro system, the computer goes all the way through the "loading windows" process. And, right after it announces "STARTING WINDOWS", the computer blue-screens. My SP3 disk is not, of course, useable. Any ideas what went wrong??? My regular Windows XP Pro SP2 disk works just fine. That's the one from which I copied the files. Please comment/help. Regards, Senior Moments.
mmalves Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 What does it say in the blue screen? I mean the error code(s).
