smeehrrr Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Does anyone have any tips for improving blu-ray rip speed using imgburn? My blu-ray drives claims to be able to read up to 10x on blu-rays, but my average read rate appears to be less than 3x. Are there settings I can tweak in imgburn to help improve my throughput?
smeehrrr Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 What brand/model is it? I've tried with two, the first is the LG combo HD-DVD/BD drive GGC-H20L, and now currently I've got an LG UH10LS20 in there. Similar results with both. If anyone has advice on a better drive for blu-ray ripping, I wouldn't mind hearing that as well.
Cynthia Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 DVD based LGs have some type of reading speed lock that you can remove by using MediaCodeSpeedEdit. Not sure if this tool also works with firmware from Blu-ray based burners.
