mindedprofessor Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Topic and Title Description pretty much says it all. Sometimes I forget to remove the old version of ImgBurn prior to installing, and sometimes I think its OK to install over the older installation without uninstalling the old version. I've noticed with installers for the K-light Codec Pack the installer detects the old version, prompts you to remove its, prompts for reboot and then you're able to get back to installing the recent K-light Codec Pack. Is there any need to remove the previous version of ImgBurn prior to updating, or can you simply run the most recent installer? If so I'd like to see this implemented with ImgBurn.
Cynthia Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 You can just install the new version on top of the new one. If there are some/or all settings that needs to be adjusted the installer will inform you about that.
