how can I turn a 8 gb iso into an iso with layer brake for burning?

I've been using ImgBurn for a while to burn DL DVDs. Now I've come across a bunch of ISOs with 7-8 GB that don't seem to have been prepared for dual layer burning. Always the same error:

 

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_01)

 

What can I do? What's the easiest way to convert them to DL for burning?

I tried using MagicISO but am no further.
