words Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) How firm are these limits to making an Audio CD? 700MB and 80 min I just made an audio CD with a CD/R. The length ran 83 min and the size ran 875 MB! I thought IMGBURN would cough or that the CD would skip a song or two. I listened to the whole CD and no deficiency was heard by my ears, anyway. Did I lower the quality of the CD? The CD had 4 MP3 files and 13 WAV files. Edited April 3, 2010 by words
mmalves Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 That's called overburning, and the success depends on your burner/media combination. The quality shouldn't be affected, but keep in mind that not all reader devices may be able to read past 80min of audio.
