cornholio7 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 W 13:01:22 User accepted disc space warning and is attempting to overburn! I 13:01:22 Source File Size: 6,805,489,664 bytes I 13:01:23 Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: CMC MAG-E01-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x) hello you ignored the warning in your log about overburning - the image is too big for the disc, you need to compress it. CMC MAG are maybe one of the worst discs you can use. try verbatim or taiyo yuden discs
opo030 Posted May 16, 2006 Author Posted May 16, 2006 Thanks but I don't even have another type at home right now I will get some later on tonoght.
cornholio7 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=15 take a look at our drives and media forum you can see how a variety of discs burn there
lfcrule1972 Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Also it's easier to buy from online retailers that list the media ID on the discs they sell. Unfortunately a "reputable" name on the disc can tell you nothing about the dye that is being used.... In the UK I use www.svp.co.uk and I have heard good things about www.meritline.com in the states.
