Prise
Hi there, I've been trying to burn an .avi onto a DVD to watch on my DVD player. I've tried Nero, but it fails to burn completely. After several tries with imgburn, I see the error message below: W 16:39:03 Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (99%, 0/3) - No Seek Complete W 16:39:03 Finalise Disc Failed! - Reason: No Seek Complete W 16:39:03 Retrying (1 of 3)... W 16:40:08 Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (99%, 0/3) - No Seek Complete W 16:40:08 Retry Failed - Reason: No Seek Complete W 16:40:08 Retrying (2 of 3)... W 16:41:06 Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (99%, 0/3) - No Seek Complete W 16:41:06 Retry Failed - Reason: No Seek Complete W 16:41:06 Retrying (3 of 3)... W 16:41:58 Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error - (99%, 0/3) - No Seek Complete W 16:41:58 Retry Failed - Reason: No Seek Complete Can anyone shed some light on what this means? Since I've had issues with both Nero and imageburn, perhaps it's my dvd drive? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I've attached the log. The only part missing is the very bottom, when after the fail, imgburn verified the disk data. Even with the "error," the dvd appears to work on my player.
Cynthia
Perhaps try with a lower write speed than 18x on that media.

It seems my "first" burn was the isolated occurrence.
