roundboxx Posted April 12, 2010 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Ok, let me start by saying I'm new to this. I've tried burning several different Xbox 360 games and continually get errors along the way. I would say that out of 15 discs, I've gotten 2 to burn. The disc drive I'm using is a GT10N that came with my Dell 1750. I have tried both the A107 and A109 firmwares with no luck. I have also tried writing at 2x, 2.4x, 4x with the same results. I'm currently using Memorex discs, which could be the problem, but thought I'd see if anyone else can look at the log to see if there's anything else going on. I do see at the top of the log that it says "Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance." Could this be a problem? Below is my log file. If it doesn't work at first then try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. Ok, I've updated the firmware and used a lens cleaner but I'm still getting the error below. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Do you think that Verbatims will work with this drive or should I look at replacing the drive as well? Oh, and I forgot to mention that these errors almost always happen around 44% - 46% complete. If it makes it past 50%, the discs burn properly. Thanks again!
