Cynthia Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I would try a cleaning disc and if you still get write errors, replace the drive.
ochoagd Posted April 16, 2010 Author Posted April 16, 2010 I would try a cleaning disc and if you still get write errors, replace the drive. What usually cause Set L0 Data Zone Capacity write errors?
Cynthia Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 In my own experience, that the disc is not liked by the burner. Some times it can be solved by using another write speed. In your case the 2.4x gave that error, but not the 4x. Instead you ended up with a "normal" write error.

I keep on getting the same E 17:48:56 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Write Error and i always have used 2x. Out of no where it started to do this. Weird.
Cynthia Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Could have gotten some dust on the lens. 2.4x is the lowest available speed. If you select 2x it will revert to 2.4x. W 15:03:30 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 2,770 KB/s (2x), Got: 3,324 KB/s (2.4x)
