mcmpgadec.dll not found

When trying to create a audio CD (write option), after file selection, a popup windows appears, containing the following error:

 

(The pupup windows has this title: ActveMovie Windows: ImgBurn.exe - System error)

mcmpgadec.dll not found.

Why?

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Imgburn ver: 2.5.1.0 64bit

The dll is nothing to do with ImgBurn, your system is probably just mentioning it as it's trying to pull it into a DirectShow graph.

 

Run codec fix on your system, you must have stuff left over in the registry or something.

 

Search in regedit for that exact file name too.

Thanks for your prompt reply, any suggestion about which "codec fix" program to use/download?

Try 'codec tweak tool'.

 

It's the top link in my Google search when I look for 'codec fix'
