I can't burn dvds using ImgBurn,I was trying to save a ISO from HDD, and when I pressed "WRITE", the computer froze....no task manager help, just reset button. I don't have a log. I've made a new windows7 fresh install,reinstalled Imgburn,updated the firmware, tried a different dvd burner, the result was the same... I tried to burn some files onto a dvd using windows 7 built in burning feature,and I could.... Any solution? Please.... Thanks! Log before press "WRITE" I 04:17:46 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! mmalves Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Look for the latest chipset and/or storage drivers for your system (this website might help).
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Copy + paste the disc info from the panel on the right please. For you, maybe the 'Incremental' write type would work (where DAO/SAO is currently failing). You can change that on the 'Write' tab in the settings. With a decent drive/firmware/media combo, there should be no reason to change anything. It's your drive that's messing up here and the above is just a possible workaround.
