Plays on ps3 but not my DVD player

hey guys just got imgburn just learning how to do this crap haha

 

anyways

majority of the movies i download are DIVX or whatever i get them all from Utorrent ...

 

uhh anyways

 

I burned a movie to a DVD-R disc and it wont play on my DVD player in the living room but it does play on the ps3 in my room

 

Is it because the PS3 has divx or something? Is there a way I can change it to play on my DVD player in the living room?

Yes, the PS3 can read DivX. You'll need to use DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs to convert your videos before burning and then they'll play fine on any DVD player.

okay i downloaded DVD Flick now how do I change it from divx to play on a regular dvd player?
