BrandonW Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 (edited) Hey guys - Thanks for the support forums! New to the whole BD-R burning game, trying to keep my ducks from running around with bad haircuts. I'm one of those people who hate when people don't just search for the answer first, so I tried all that. I'm hoping I did everything right. After ripping the BD, was able to play the largest file under "STREAM". Used BD Rebuilder to fit the movie on a 25. Can play that file fine as well. Ran ImgBurn and thought it was successful. Inserted on PS3, movie came up under video menu with the image of the movie and the title and everything, but just sits on a black screen with a 0:00 out of 0:00 play bar. The problem is that besides the PS3, my Pioneer BD-R drive is my only other player, and my computer gives me some crap about graphics card incompatibility and won't play it. So I really don't know if it works on a normal BD player. Sorry if I'm an idiot about this stuff - I'll do my best (I'm in Tech Support for a large web hosting company, so I can take the newbie hatred ImgBurn file attached. Let me know if I forgot anything. Thanks in advance! Brandon edit: Dang, the log looks different now. I believe I burned it on the 20th. ImgBurn.log Edited April 23, 2010 by BrandonW
mmalves Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I 15:40:14 Destination Media Type: BD-R (Disc ID: PHILIP-R04-00) (Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x)I 15:40:14 Write Speed: MAX You could try burning slower to see if you get a better burn quality; one that your PS3 can read. It might also be worth having a look at doom9's forum on a way to double-check if your content/structure is compatible with the PS3
