Burning Movie on DVD problem

Hey guys,

 

I've been trying to burn a performance video of a band on a DVD and every time I put it in the DVD and gets to the Main Menu it jumps and scrolls up with a black an white color (Which is supposed to be in color and with music in the background). Can you guys help me? I've been burning with the 4.0x, 6.0x, and 8.0x burning speed because that is the only speed the disc supports.

Also, it seems that the PAL TV system is made with the files. Is that a problem because the files is supported in all regions?

Does it play OK on the computer? If it does then your player and/or your TV doesn't support PAL video and you'll need to convert it with another software.

Yes, all the speeds have the same results. I even tried higher speeds, but same results.

Before I go do that, I was able to make a DVD with a program called ConvertXtoDVD. It was able to make the PAL files into NTSC files and played on my DVD player. Having said that, does this mean the files on the DVD are now NTSC files, which I can copy to my hard-drive and use them with ImgBurn to get the fancy menus and what not?

I guess you're confusing ImgBurn with some other program because ImgBurn doesn't create menus: it doesn't change anything. Look in ConvertXtoDVD that it might be able to create menus and stuff.

What I'm getting at is that ConvertXtoDVD made the video files into NTCS, which was playable on my DVD, but I still wanted the original BUP and IFO files on the disc because it had alread a pre-made menu on the files. I'm just wonder if PAL effects all the files or just the video, because if it only effects the video, then I might be able to have the original BUP and IFO files with the new VOB files. That's all I'm saying. Just need to know.
