CEEJ
I am running ImgBurn on my Win XP system. I am getting Joliet warning messages in my log. I think I have figured it out - one of the folders in the list is a Mac package (.app) Such folders have internal files with 'names only' (i.e no extension) An example of one such file from the log is shown below. Notice the -> 'applet.' When I look in the image, it appears correct (i.e. without the trailing dot). Is ImgBurn warning me that this "might be" an error, but going ahead and copying the file "as is". If so, great! If not, or even if so, should I worry? thanks -ceej I 12:23:59 Preparing Image... LIGHTNING UK!
No, it's warning you that the file name (within the image, not the one on your hdd) has been changed (basically to include the dot). Enable the 'allow file names without extensions' option in advanced -> restrictions -> joliet.
CEEJ
I had set the option you suggest. Still got the warning. I will experiment this weekend and see what I get (in the log and in the image) with extensions on/off. No, it's warning you that the file name (within the image, not the one on your hdd) has been changed (basically to include the dot). LIGHTNING UK!
That's odd because I don't get it when I enable it. I've tested it in 'Standard' and 'Advanced' input modes too.
