What make is your PC? Dell, HP etc? At this point, I'm guessing it's an Acer. They're rubbish with firmware updates so you might like to crossflash it to a GSA-H20N or GSA-H22N. LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 7, 2010 Share Posted May 7, 2010 It's where you change the drive into a different drive by means of installing different firmware on it. The same chipset is used in all three models (H20N, H21N and H22N) so you can put whichever firmware on the drive you want to. The H21N is an OEM only model and due to the infrequent/non-existent firmware updates (especially from Acer), it's often worth using the firmware from a retail drive (the H20N or H22N).
