Trollfan Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) Hope you can understand my bad english. I i would copy a DVD from disk to harddisk, sometimes, the disk is bad and had an error,so i will become an error message. So Imgburn have to go on and ignore the error. But Imgburn make 20 tries and goes on and make 20 new tries. This takes a lot of time,if you had more then one error at this position. It is possible, that Imgburn make only 2 tries and then goes on?? So Imgburn needs only 200 tries for maybe 100 errors, not 2000??? Hope you understand what i mean. Edit: Maybe im stupid like a sandwich. Have found something under Settings/Verify/Read Errors. Have installed the upgrade from 2.4 to the 2.51 version, maybe, the old 2.4 didnt have this option?? Hmm,its possible, that this point solve my problem.I will see after a test Edited May 8, 2010 by Trollfan
Trollfan Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 You can change it in the settings in the tab Read. Thanks. Yes,this works. But didnt solve my problem. After 3 1/2 hours and 650 read Errors (739 Tries) i stopped the copy. The disk looks like normal. Maybe i can make, that the IMGBurn dont go from sector 153 600 to 153 601 to 153 602 if he had an error,no, he will copy the next sector, 50 sectors away?? Like 153 600 to 153 650 to 153 700 if it has errors? Hope you understand what i mean. PreGap Snapping dont help me,or? Dont know what this option does.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 You can't do that in ImgBurn. PreGap snapping is nothing to do with what you want. Don't mess with things you don't understand Try IsoPuzzle - http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=114815 http://www.marsoupilami.esmartweb.com/DocEnglish.htm
