jowlsus Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I am trying to burn a BD-R DL disc (Verbatim brand) using my LG GBW-H20L. I've tried two different discs that I just opened the packaging on and keep getting this error: In the ImgBurn window: I/O Error Device [0:1:0] HL-DT-ST BD-RE GBW-H20L YG01 (H:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: check condition CDB: AA 00 00 00 00 60 00 00 00 20 40 00 Interpretation: Write (12) - Sectors: 96 - 127 Sense Area: 71 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 37 2D 03 D4 0C 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Write Error In the ImgBurn Log window: time Retry Failed - Reason: Invalid Address for write (repeated over and over) I also get a separate ImgBurn window that states: Synchronise Cache Failed! Device: [0:10] HL-DT-ST BD-RE GBW-H20L YG01 (H:) (ATA) Reason: Write Error I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with ImgBurn ver 2.5.1.0 To be honest, I do not know what firmware revision I have but LG's website doesn't offer any, either. Finally, I have burned DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, and BD-R SL discs without issue on this drive. I've checked the forums and guides for these error and have found nothing, so please don't flame if I have somehow missed something posted. Any ideas? ps - I have attached a screenshot of the errors.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 You posted everything except what we specifically ask for... the entire log! It's written up there in the pink box ^^ - see?!

LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 You might like to read this and crossflash to a GGW-H20L. There don't seem to be any firmware updates for your model and it doesn't support as many BD-R (or as well) as the GGW-H20L. http://club.myce.com/f142/lg-blu-ray-crossflash-ggw-h20l-gbw-h20l-be06lu10-be06lu11-260811/
