roboticsound Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) Hi, OK now I have been using imgburn for a long time to make xbox360 backups and it has always worked perfectly. I was using xp and a pioneer disk drive. However a while back my disk drive died on me so I have replaced it with a tsstcorp ts-l632d and also updated to windows 7. Now all I seem able to make are coasters Everything seems to go fine with the write but when it verifies I get a "layouts do not match" error. I 18:28:19 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! mmalves Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Try burning at 4x or 6x. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it.

Cynthia Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 The drive you are using must have been released 2006/2007 so I guess it was a used one you replaced the dead one with?
roboticsound Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 The drive you are using must have been released 2006/2007 so I guess it was a used one you replaced the dead one with? No according to the seller it was new and it works OK in other situations other than it has a habit of disappearing under win 7,
