s71ce Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Recently, I have been having problems with burning DVD+R DL discs. I am using the same discs I have used for over 100 successful burns, but now when I burn one successfully, the DVD will not play on my DVD player (continues to try and "load" the DVD) and will only play on my computer. It seems like I might have a setting wrong or something. Do you have any ideas on where I should check or how to resolve this problem? Thanks
Cynthia Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 If the burn + verify is ok, it sounds more as your stand alone player needs a cleaning disc.

ianymaty Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 I 22:07:39 TV System: NTSC Your DVD player support NTSC?
s71ce Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 I 22:07:39 TV System: NTSC Your DVD player support NTSC? It has always been able to play my burned discs. I assume it supports NTSC as I have just recently had problems.
mmalves Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 You didn't Verify your burn, so we don't know if the disc was correctly burned or not. By the way there's newer firmware for your Samsung burner.
s71ce Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 Thanks. Up dated the firmware for my samsung burner. I have the same problem if I verify the DVD or not. The verified version doesn't play in my DVD player either. I don't think my problem lies with verification. Any other ideas on why I am recently having this problem. I use the latest version of DVDFab to feed ImgBurn and only have problems playing burned DL DVD's. Thanks
