kriskind Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Hi! I got an DVD that s#has 16:9 Pal Video on it. Playing this DVD back on a 16:9 TV it appears 4:3. So it seems the DVD doesnt tell the DVD Plaer the aspect of the content. No I made an image file of this DVD to copy it again to DVD. Is there any chance to change the DVD settings somehow so my DVD player will konw its a 16:9 DVD??? I hope you understand what I mean...
mmalves Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Sounds like you need to adjust your TV's input settings or your DVD player's settings. Play the DVD on the computer using PowerDVD/WinDVD/VLC Media Player/Media Player Classic Homecinema/etc and check if it's indeed widescreen.

The DVD contains 16:9 but also Mediaplayer shows it as 4:3. So the DVD does not know that its a 16:9 content DVD... Is there a way to change this in the Image?
