mitshita drive wont allow imgburn to chande book type

i have a MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ141ES 1.00 (ATAPI drive on a qosmio 505 and am trying to burn a dvd rom on a dvd+r but i dont know how to change the booktype with this drive. Is it possible/

Will there be an imgburn update that allows you to change these settings or is it just my drives fault?

Matshita burners don't support changing the booktype: it's a limitation of those burners, not ImgBurn's. For DVD+R DL media they automatically booktype to DVD-ROM by themselves, as all burners on the market do.
