Help!! cant burn dvd + r dl and status incomplete

i treid burn a dvd + r dl but it kept saying it is not empty. it is a empty dvd why doesnt it work. i went to write mode in image burn and pasted this. MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ880AS 1.20 (ATAPI)
