jctl
I've been having a persistent problem burning DVD+R DL discs, and when I've searched this and other forums for advice, the only suggestions I've found are to update my drive's firmware and use better DVD media. Unfortunately, there isn't a firmware upgrade available for my drive, and I'm already using the recommended media. I was really hoping that someone might be able to help -- thanks to all. The errors I get are always write errors, but are not always in the same place -- I've pasted two examples of logs I've gotten below. I 16:39:29 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! Cynthia
SlimLine drives can be tricky to burn DL with. If it fails burning the best media on the market, I would go for an external attached normal height burner. Perhaps give it a try with a cleaning disc.
