Hello. And thank you in advance...

I have a new Windows 7 64bits with a new LG GH22NS50 DVD recorder. Other burning programs work well, but with Imgburn (my favorite) I have a problem:

I always start receiving error messages from the beginning of the verification process.

I am using Verbatim DVD+R 8x and Verbatim DVD+RW 4x and I am sure that this is not the problem.

I think that the firmware is updated (TN02).

I think (I'm not sure) that the driver of the chipset is updated too (motherboard GA-P55A-UD3).

Can you help?

The log from the DVD+R burn would be useful too.

There it just looks like the drive is messing up an entire ECC block. Now that's either during the read (verify) operation or it's during the write one.

Try building your image in advance, then burn it.

If verification fails, eject the disc, wait 30 mins and then use Verify mode to do it manually a second time and see if the errors are in exactly the same place.

OK.

I build an image of a dvd and then burn it to another dvd. There are errors ---> log1.txt

Then I wait 30 minutes and use Verify mode. There are errors ---> log2.txt

I think that errors are not in the same place.

Well, And now? Is there really write errors?

Thank you.

Did you eject the disc like I said during that 30 mins?

Something isn't right but it's impossible to say what at this point.

If DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW all give you this same problem then I'd probably try the drive in another PC or another drive in your PC and see if it does the same thing.

Basically, you're going to have to do some detective work.
