USB memory stick listed among drives

I don't know if this is a bug or not because maybe it's intentional?

 

I have a USB memory stick with an ISO in the root directory and thus it's deteced by windoze as a CD drive. I noticed that imgburn does not exclude it stick in enumeration and it shows up in the Distination dropdown box as if I could read or write to it. Can't of course. Maybe it's just on my system?

 

If it's not intentional and this is happening to others, I know a way to exclude these types of USB sticks during enumeration. If you're interested let me know.

If the device reports itself as a cdrom drive then ImgBurn will display it.

 

It's not a bug, it's not intentional, it's just the way it is.
