How to burn a DVD that is playable in a DVD player?

This is probably a newbie question, but I cannot seem to find any information on how to burn files (AVI, MP4, etc.) to a DVD that is playable in a standard DVD player.

ImgBurn burns as-is, so if you want a DVD Video disc you'll need to convert those files to the correct format.

 

For that, use DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD.
