Cynthia Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 1. Try to clean the burner with a cleaning disc 2. Try a later firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-1100A/files.html 3. Get a new burner.

Cynthia Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I bought my first DVD burner in 2004. It was a Nec 1300. Your burner was released before that model. They don't last forever. If your burner worked fine some days ago, it could be the discs that are not good. Could be a bad disc/spindle. Tried with another spindle of discs?
mmalves Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I 03:00:02 Found 3 DVD-ROMs and 1 DVD+RW!I 03:04:10 Destination Device: [3:1:0] _NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A 10GE (H:) (ATA) I 03:04:10 Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Speeds: 2.4x) Your burner is ancient and it doesn't support/recognise the new media you're using with it. While you're at it, update ImgBurn and install SP3 too.

mmalves Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 If you don't want our advice then why did you post? There's no magic to make it work.
Jerseydevil Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 (edited) If you don't want our advice then why did you post? There's no magic to make it work. I had tried to burn the same file and it was too large, so I used DVD shrink. Maybe that's the problem. Edited June 18, 2010 by Jerseydevil
