sugar_fish Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 ImgBurn is a excellent software for burning, small, free and practical. From China,English is not so well... Today, use the soft to record XP-SP3, the disc is "HP CD-R".When it come to finish, it is stoping at "99% -Synchronising Cache" and for a long time it remains at the point, the CD-drive has the sound of "dudu..." repeated. Besides, the CD can't be ejected from the drive. I don't know the reason and in this Forum I don't find the solution. Some days ago, I used the soft and HP CD-R to record XP-SP3, it's normal and the speed was fast. I never see the "Synchronising Cache". So what's the problem and please help me to deal with it? Only when I restart, the CD can be taken out!!! -.-,help... the log... now is 10:58, it remains in "10:10:56 Synchronising Cache..." and "dudu.." I 10:07:25 Operation Started! mmalves Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Your burner doesn't like the disc you're using. Try burning at 16x or 10x to see if it works.
sugar_fish Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Your burner doesn't like the disc you're using. Try burning at 16x or 10x to see if it works. 我先去试一下. Have a try...HOHO~~.. the same... remains at 99%!!!! #39;(
ianymaty Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m26s66f, CMC Magnetics Corp.) Try other brands of discs (Disc ID's). CMC are known to be variable/lower quality. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are the best recommandations.
spinningwheel Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 CMC is junk...follow the advice of ianmaty and get some good disks.
sugar_fish Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 CMC is junk...follow the advice of ianmaty and get some good disks. Thank you above! Today I have tried another burner software "ONES", the result is same. So, the CD or the burner, one of it maybe is wrong?
spinningwheel Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 If your burner cannot burn the disc, try another brand.
