Bro Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I've seen other topics about this but they didn't contain any fixes. Could I please get some help? NOTE: The Error listed that indicates is 2x and not 2.4x is below W 12:35:59 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 3,324 KB/s (2.4x), Got: 2,770 KB/s (2x) Also, the disc I burned originally ran at 2x. Would it still be usable?
Bro Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 I know how to but, most of the information is useless because everything else is normal except for W 12:23:23 Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance.
mmalves Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 If it was useless then I wouldn't be asking for it, would I?

Cynthia Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 There is a later firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H653A/files.html Not sure why you aborted the burn.
Bro Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Later firmware still burns at 2x. I aborted because, as I said earlier, I haven't modded my xbox and don't know if it matters if I burn at 2.4x or 2x or 4x. I'd rather not waste these disks, these disks are a lot of money
Bro Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) ...No one decided to comment on the SPTD problem i fixed it, but it still doesn't go normal speed. It used to go up to 4x. Edited June 25, 2010 by Bro
Cynthia Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 ...No one decided to comment on the SPTD problem i fixed it, but it still doesn't go normal speed. It used to go up to 4x. The SPTD issue only affects verify speeds and in most cases a Pioneer. I 12:35:59 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 2.4x) 2.4x is the highest speed with that media.
Bro Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 Yeah, but it won't go 2.4x. My computer used to burn very quickly.
Cynthia Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 If it burns slower like 1x-2x it might be DMA issue. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&view=findpost&p=967

mmalves Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Look in the Storage Controllers branch then. If you have an Intel controller then you should install this.
