Stupify_me Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Trying to burn with Imgburn and I'm getting Device not ready (unable to recover TOC) I have the newest Imgburn, Ive tried many different types of discs. I tried other programs and nothing will burn. My Drive is able to both read and write DVDs. Heres my event log. My drive will read any thing I put in, but it refuses to burn for some reason. Any suggestions on how I might be able to fix it and what the problem might be. Please please don't say buy a new drive lol. Lets try every thing else first lol. EDIT For some reason I can not reply to the post it's blocked out and says i can't reply to this topic. I tried putting it in read mode and put a blank disc in nothing happened thought. Cynthia Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Can you put in a blanc disc and then switch to read mode and post the Disc Info in the right window panel?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 There is no 'everything else' ! If the drive can't initialise any blank discs from a selection of spindles (using different *decent* dyes), all you can do is try cleaning it with a cleaning disc and/or buy a new one.
