Stupify_me Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Trying to burn with Imgburn and I'm getting Device not ready (unable to recover TOC) I have the newest Imgburn, Ive tried many different types of discs. I tried other programs and nothing will burn. My Drive is able to both read and write DVDs. Heres my event log. My drive will read any thing I put in, but it refuses to burn for some reason. Any suggestions on how I might be able to fix it and what the problem might be. Please please don't say buy a new drive lol. Lets try every thing else first lol. EDIT For some reason I can not reply to the post it's blocked out and says i can't reply to this topic. I tried putting it in read mode and put a blank disc in nothing happened thought. If the drive can't initialise any blank discs from a selection of spindles (using different *decent* dyes), all you can do is try cleaning it with a cleaning disc and/or buy a new one.
