slappy Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) First off, love imgburn, it's a great program. I'm having a problem though, with that being that I'm trying to burn a cd at 1x speed, yet on the imgburn log it pops up: W 13:08:07 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 176 KB/s (1x), Got: 2,823 KB/s (16x) Why does it keep burning at 16x speed? Thanks in advance! EDIT: NM, I looked around and it appears as though it's because my cd burner can't burn any slower then that. Guess I'm SOL. Edited July 15, 2010 by slappy
ianymaty Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 These days you can burn a CD at 52x and you are forcing it to burn at 1x? What are you intend to achiev? Better result? Don't waste your time, the drive and media are tuned to burn at high rates, so you may get better results with 32-48x rather than with 1-8x on a CD. Can you post a log of that attempt? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
