pjlillington Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Has anybody tried to create a W2K8 R2 bootable disk using Imgburn? I've tried to create a disk using the Win 7 bootable instructions, thinking it may be a similar procedure - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=11194 However, no joy - I receive CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD - Code: 5. Thanks, Peter
mmalves Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Please post the log from when you built/burned your disc.
pjlillington Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Please post the log from when you built/burned your disc. I orginally did not have a log - so I have recreated the burn and logged it (I will not be able to verify that this new disk does not boot until tomorrow). The only difference between the original burn and this one was the volume label syntax - this one is identical to the instructions (I'm not sure if that is significant).
