Disc to Img Error

I have a DVD+R DL which i am trying to copy. I load the disc into the drive start up imgburn and select the Disc > Img button. The process says its going to take about 35 mins. But it finishes at 16 mins with only half the disc copied to the img. When it gets to the second layer, it imediately says its found the end of the disc, and terminates copying.

Does anyone know why it is doing this? Any suggestions? Im kinda stuck.

P.S. I should have mentioned, it is a Verbatim DVD+R DL. I have learnt my lesson from cheaper alternatives lol.

During the read operation, your drive is basically reporting sector 1913760 as the end of the disc. (by returning a very specific error code)

 

Do you have access to any other drives that you could try reading the disc in?
