cornholio7 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 try updating your firmware to GD30 here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1978 you should be using only Verbatim discs for dual layer , CMC discs arent that good if you know how to do it you could always try cross flashing the drive to the BenQ DW1620 it really is
Kenadjian Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Jesus, I didn't know CMC's hit the DL market, what a f***ing disaster.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Jesus, I didn't know CMC's hit the DL market, what a f***ing disaster. I can?t wait for them to start building burners. That would be fabulous.
Kenadjian Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Jesus shamus, I realy hope you're wrong about this one.
lfcrule1972 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Thanks for reading the media/drives section then Ken !! I don't know all that hard work and even your mates don't read it The CMC MAG DL's are shite, altho digi managed to burn one none of my drives liked them.... Compare the scans with those of a Verb DL and it will become clear why we only recommend the latter for DL burns.
Kenadjian Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I don't read that section simply because I know what I want It's pointless reading 100's of tests when we can't even get half the media listed in that section down here. I'm sure that people that are new to DVD burning would appreciate all the effort.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I don't read that section simply because I know what I want <queue Spice Girls> Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want, So tell me what you want, what you really really want, I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want, So tell me what you want, what you really really want, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really really really wanna zigazig ha. 7am. I really should go to bed.
kevdriver Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Package will be arriving shortly Shamus.......... Take 1 pill in the morning and 1 at night...........all will be well.......
volvofl10 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 just hope he did </END queue Spice Girls> before he went to bed , cause if he wakes up next to any of them apart from baby spice he will be in for a shock
lfcrule1972 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 :rotfl: You don't think Shamus could handle Scary Spice ???
volvofl10 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 if wombats have wild curly hair , then yes he could
