Surround audio

Hi guys is there any software which can convert mp3 or any audio in 2.0 channels to 5.1 surround..? Prefer freeware but reasonably priced will be ok..I 've tried some like xilisoft..,but when u record that audio its still 2 ch.. I know also HD audio solo,but lookin for somethin cheaper..

You can't create something (the extra 3.1 channels) out of nothing.
