However, recently whilst trying to burn ISO DVD's to backup file under ISO/UDF format the write speed defaults from 8x to 0.6x meaning it takes 1h30min to burn a 4.5g DVD. Thanks again Ben

I wasn't having any problems with it until a couple of weeks ago. I also have DMA enabled so I dont think that could be the problem. However, in the Imgburn log I do have the following warning: "Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance" Could this possibly be part of the problem?
