Supported file types

Hi,

Newbie here. I,ve looked in the guide + Faq. Did a search for .JPG When I try to write an image to disc. .jpg is not listed in the all file types. Since that is the type of image file I'm trying to copy how do I add it to that list ? Or why doesn't it recognise those files ?

Jpg is a picture format and not a container format like iso.

Use build mode to add jpg files.

Indeed, 'image file' does not mean jpg, bmp, png etc when you're talking about burning discs.

So you actually want to write files/folders to a disc, not an image file.

Ok thanks for the replies.

I used the build mode as told and and everything went well until - long story short got this error in the log file

Failed to Write Sectors 63360 - 63391 - Reason: Track Following Error Does this mean my dvd rw is malfuntioning ?

I didn't put the whole log file in beacause I'm not sure if this is the place.

Iv'e been struggling with my Roxio program not working and somone suggested this program . So it seems as if my lens may be dirty or some other physical problem with the drive. The thing is it's hardly used much , in the time I've had it (LG/HLDS Model: GWA-4164B (Dell OEM) I have not burned more than 25 cd's image + music combined. I would think them to be a little more durable than that. Even if 3-4 yrs old -- I know it was outdated by the time it was delivered.
