mastersamman
ok so I have been using image burn 2.5.0 with the verbatims for awhile now and its been perfect each time. No coasters ever!!! Just today I tried to burn an xbox 360 iso and I got burn errors on 2 dvd+dl. Then my dvd drive starts to dissapear off "my computer" window. It comes back if I restart the computer. Also when I restart, the dvd drive is there but after a bit when I load up image burn, it disappears. See below: I 04:22:58 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! I am on Win 7 x64 and have even tried the upgraded image burn 2.5.1 with no luck. The only thing that has changed is the night prior, I did install MS Office 2010. Could the MS Office programs be causing the problem? TIA.
LIGHTNING UK!
Have you tried unplugging the drive and plugging it back in? Check the cable at the motherboard end too. Check for updated motherboard chipset / controller drivers too (on the website of whoever makes the chipset).
mastersamman
solved... dunno what caused it but unplugging and replugging in both ends of the sata worked.
