mmalves Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 No, because it all depends on your burner/firmware/media combination: ImgBurn just sets the write speed and feeds the data in the correct sequence.
Quatre Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I also had repeated failures with Disc Id: MEI-T01-01 in the form of a Panasonic BD-RE DL which was individually wrapped so I was sure its a good disc as I never had any problems with panasonic bd-re (sl) and bd-r. can't remember where i got it from either to try and return but I will try and look it up. meantime I need to get a new bd-re dl because I only keep one and use it to test burns first to make sure they are good before putting on bd-r dl. this disk made me think the iso was bad but if I dont feel like waiting for a new bd-re dl i should just be gutsy and use a bd-r dl and hope i dont get a coaster cus it looks like the culprit is this disk not my burner , the iso or anything else.
Quatre Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 can you guys recommend a good BD-RE DL that will work with Pio BDR-205 and not have any problems because this was pure torture trying to burn an iso to this MEI-T01-01 as it wouldn't fail until 60 some % and would take 3 hrs each try multiplied by like 20 tries. my burner may be shot from just trying this disk so many times so i guess its time to give up and try a new bd-re dl and hope its not my burner or something else.
