Cynthia Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 In theory, if the European disc is coded for region 2 and is used in a laptop that has the region on the drive set to 1, no it will not play. In practice, (with the help of Google) no. The real issue is often that stand alone players sold in the US only can play NTSC video. A software player on a laptop should be able to play both systems.
